30 on the 30th Campaign

These are just a few of the current reminders that although we have
come a long way, we still have so much to do. It’s been thirty
years since the first Sacramento Women Take Back the Night Rally and
March at the State Capitol. Our work is as important now as it was
back then.
Through the years, we’ve partnered with many non-profit organizations,
for profit businesses and governmental agencies. They have provided
financial and other support for our annual Women Take Back the Night
Rally and March, and other related events, to increase awareness of
violence against women in its many forms.
Individuals have also been generous in supporting our efforts with
their time and many forms of donations. This year we developed a campaign
for individuals who would like to provide financial assistance for
our efforts. We call it our “30 on the 30th” campaign.
In this campaign, we invite individuals to pledge $30 (or more!) a
month, due on the 30th of every month, from now until the end of the
year. Click here for a copy
of the campaign flyer and response form.
I joined the campaign and wrote my first $30 check this past March.
Won’t you join me in being a part of the change we all want
to see? Thank you!
